The time when you longingly remember bbq chicken wings are over! These vegan nutrient packed barbecue cauliflower wings are great for your taste buds and for waistline, without threatening to raise your cholesterol.
  • 1 medium to large size head of cauliflower
  • 9-10 oz. of your favorite barbecue sauce
Gluten Free Batter
  • 1 ½ cup Bobs Red Mill Gluten-Free 1-to-1 flour
  • ¾ tsp baking soda
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp salt or to taste
  • 1 ¾ cup water
  1. preheat oven to 450 F
  2. chop cauliflower into small bite-size bits
  3. to prepare batter: mix all batter ingredients and whisk together to ensure no clumps are formed
  4. drop in cauliflower florets and toss until well coated
  5. line two baking sheets with parchment paper and lay out coated florets on them
  6. bake at 450 F for 15-17 minutes (the longer you bake, the softer cauliflower will get)
  7. take out of the oven, dip into barbecue sauce
  8. place Cauliflower Wings back on baking sheets and into the oven and bake for additional 5 minutes
